Melissa Errico's Theatrical Role

Call Me Madam

Cast included: Tyne Daly, Melissa Errico, Ken Page, Lewis Cleale, Chris Durang, Walter Charles, Simon Jones

Revived in fully-staged concert format at City Center Encores!, with Rob Fisher conducting the Coffee Club Orchestra, Tyne Daly brought to life the indomitable heroine made famous by Ethel Merman, belting out songs like "Hostess with the Mostess". As the Princess of Lichtenstein, Melissa sang, in thick Germanic accent, such Irving Berlin favorites as "It's a Lovely Day" and "The Ocarina." This sold-out production was directed by Charles Repole and choreographed by Kathleen Marshall. Album available.
