Melissa Errico's Theatrical Roles

Readings and Workshops

The following lists the debuts of certain straight plays (LOVE SONG) and many new musical works. They can be "Broadway workshops" that may have lasted up to six weeks ultimately for large audiences, or staged concert readings that might have been pulled together in only a few hectic days. Melissa was the first to perform several new musicals that went on to have major productions on Broadway or touring such as TRIUMPH OF LOVE, Randy Newman's FAUSTand BUSKER ALLEY (co-starring with Tommy Tune). Workshops and staged concert readings are an invaluable tool for producers, actors and writers to evaluate a piece. Melissa first performed AMOUR as a workshop when it was still French-titled LE PASSE MURAILLE.
